Zulema Q. Olivarez, 85, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on February 6, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona.
She was born on November 23, 1932 in Kingsville, TX.
She was a cafeteria manager and nutritionist worker at Texas A & I University and Del Rio, TX, as well as a childcare worker in Kingsville. She was a devoted member of St. Martin's Altar Society and an active member of the El Rio Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Valentin and Rafaela Quintanilla, spouses, Manuel Longoria and Valdemar Olivarez; and brothers, Gusmaro Quintanilla and Rene Quintanilla.
Survivors include her children, Mary (Hilario) Ochoa of Arizona, Juan Manuel (Dulia) Longoria of Flower Mound, TX, Martin (Marla) Longoria of Lewisville, TX, and Emma (Olivero) Hinojosa of Ricardo, TX; four brothers, Baldemar (Rosaenna) Quintanilla of Kingsville, Valentin (Olga) Quintanilla of California, Ruben (Elida) Quintanilla of San Antonio, Rogelio (Rose) of Oregon; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Rosary will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating and Deacon Raul Rosales assisting.
Burial will follow at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery.
