Yolanda T. Gonzalez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Born in Robstown, Texas, Yolanda was the cherished daughter of Gilberto and Margarita Trevino. She later made her home in Kingsville, where she built a life rooted in love, faith, and service.

Yolanda dedicated many years of her professional life as an Administrative Assistant with both Kingsville ISD and Robstown ISD, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues for her diligence, warmth, and kindness.

A woman of deep faith, Yolanda was a devoted member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and was happiest surrounded by her loved ones. Her vibrant spirit lit up every room — whether she was dancing with joy, laughing with friends, or enjoying the sounds of mariachi music, which she adored. Her love for family was the heart of who she was, and she created countless cherished memories that will live on through generations.

Yolanda is preceded in death by her beloved sister, Elva Barrera, and her brothers, Oscar Trevino and Gilbert Trevino Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Armando R. Gonzalez of Kingsville; her devoted daughters, Roxana Gonzalez of Houston, Rhonda Gonzalez of Austin, and Christine A. Hubert of Kingsville; and her dear sisters, Olga Villarreal, Armandina Gutierrez, and Dianne Pena. She was a proud and loving grandmother to six grandchildren — Ryan, Rylee, Kellan, Nolan, Aaron, and Albert — and a delighted great-grandmother to little Remi. She also leaves behind a large extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held on May 21, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Father Paulson officiating.
A Cremation will follow, and a Graveside Service will be held at a later date.

Yolanda's legacy is one of joy, resilience, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
