Ventura G. Charles, 96, of Kingsville, TX passed away January 7, 2017 in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was born on November 5, 1920 in George West, TX to Ventura and Cipriana Charles.
He was retired from the Texas Highway Department after 30 years as a heavy equipment operator. He was also a member of St. Martins Catholic Church, and a member of the St. Martins Mutalistas. He was formerly an original board member for Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria C. Charles; one daughter, Delfina Charles.
Survivors include four sons, two daughters, one brother, and one sister; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, 01-09-2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Monday, 01-09-2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, 01-10-2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
A Graveside Service will be held on Fri., 01-13-2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
