Vanessa Marie Posada, 25, of Kingsville, TX, beloved wife, stepmom, grand-daughter, daughter, niece, sister, and friend, went to be with our Heavenly Father on March 11, 2023.
Vanessa was born on May 3, 1997, in Houston, Texas. She was a graduate of H.M. King High School in 2016. After graduation, Vanessa attended Coastal Bend College and held jobs as a waitress at various restaurants. She most recently assisted with the administrative duties of her husband's newly start-up construction business; helping it thrive.
Vanessa was free-spirited and an adventurous young woman with a passion for food, especially authentic Mexican dishes. She was an aspiring cook, with a dream of one day owning and operating her own food truck.
Vanessa was a loving and amazing mommy to her stepchildren. She always cherished her moments with family and friends. She will be missed dearly by the many lives she touched and will forever remain in our hearts.
Vanessa is survived by her husband, Espiridion Yanez of Bertram, Texas; one stepson, Sebastian; three stepdaughters, Annabelle, Ariel, and Kynslee; mother, Eva Lisa Orta (Chris) of Kingsville, Texas; father, David Posada (Elvia) of Kingsville, Texas; maternal grandparents, Ramiro (Belinda) Orta of Kingsville, Texas; five brothers, Ramiro Omar Gonzalez, David Posada Jr., Cesar Azul Urbina, Christopher R. Rodriguez Jr., and Tristan Xavier Posada; three sisters, Evelyn Amber Posada, Suvanna Angel Rodriguez, and Alexis Estrella Posada; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church with Father Bob Dunn officiating.
A Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
