Valentine L. Gonzalez, age 52, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on July 25, 1961 in Kingsville, TX to Valentine A. Gonzalez and Irma Lomas.
He was a Sergeant of Patrol at A & M Kingsville, and previously employed with Kleberg Co. Sheriff Dept. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus Council #2623.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Maria Olga Lomas.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Maria Del Rosario C. Gonzalez of Kingsville; two sons, Marco Antonio (Jessica) Gonzalez of Kingsville, and Luis Alberto Gonzalez of Kingsville; one sister, Priscilla (Ramiro) Pena of Banquete; one brother, Thomas Garcia of Corpus Christi; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sun., 11-17-2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
A Rosary will be held on Sun.., 11-17-2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Mon., 11-18-2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
