Valente R. Barco, 67, of Kingsville, Texas passed away February 27, 2023, in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on May 21, 1955, in San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico to Candido and Maria Remedios Barco.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator with V.T. Collins for 18 years. As a resident of the community of Ricardo, Tx, he was very well known and cherished by everyone in the community and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Minerva A. Barco of Kingsville; one son, Valente (Cindy) Barco Jr. of Mercedes; three daughters, Brenda Barco (John) of Alexandria, La, Rebecca Barco (Roman) of Kingsville, and Minerva (David) Torres of Kingsville; six sisters, Lucia Mondragon, Isabel DeLeon, Maria Paula Garcia, Antonia Barco, Inocencia Rios, and Yesenia Barco; two brothers, Candido Barco Jr., and Juan Barco; nine grandchildren, Lorenzo, McKala, Kalie, Valente III, Angel D., Paulino, Calliope Grace, Kiran, and Selena; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, 03-02-2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 03-03-2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
