Teresita "Terry" Rios, 69, passed away on March 11, 2023, in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on October 3, 1953, in Laredo, Texas to Roman and Elena Mata.
She was a retired administrative assistant with the Kleberg County Sheriff Department, as well as with the K.I.S.D.-Career and Technology Dept. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church, St. Martins Mutualistas Ladies Auxillary, and Noon Lions of Kingsville.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Roman Mata Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Oscar Rios of Kingsville; two daughters, Clarisa Rios of Kingsville, and Cecilia Rios of Kingsville; one brother, David Mata; three sisters, Gloria Mata, Rosa (Ernesto) Duron, and Maria Mendietta; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday March 20, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
