Sylvia Sandoval, 68, of Kingsville, TX passed away on January 29, 2023, in Victoria, TX.
She was born on January 30, 1954, in Kingsville, Texas to Manuel and Dionicia Sanchez.
She was a retired cafeteria manager with K.I.S.D., as a Harrel Roadrunner. She was also a 10-year employee for NAS Kingsville Housing Mini Mart. Sylvia was also a supporter of our military service members. She always hosted a military family for the holidays or dinner. Sylvia's husband, children, and grandchildren serve/have served our country in the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force.
She is preceded in death by six brothers, Margarito Sanchez Sr., Miguel Sanchez, Manuel Sanchez Jr, Roy Sanchez, Ray Sanchez, and David Sanchez; two sisters, Alicia S. Perez, and Rosa Sanchez.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Vernon Sandoval Sr. of Kingsville; two daughters, Ann Marie (Christopher) Torres of Kingsville, and Rose Marie (Justin Douglas) Cook of Corpus Christi; two sons, Vernon (Victoria) Sandoval Jr. of Cibolo, and Edward (Irene) Sandoval Sr. of San Diego, California; one brother, Guadalupe "Willie" Sanchez; two sisters, Virginia Bucio, and Adelita Leal; fourteen grandchildren, Brigette, Brittney, Romeo Jr, Roman, Danielle, Nicholas, Taylor Marie, Tomas Mario, Desiree, Lauren, Dylan Zach, Edward Jr., Alexandra Rae, and Macie Rae; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, 02-03-2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 02-04-2023 at 11:00 a.m. at King's Way Family Church with Pastor Edwin Cann officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
