Obituary

Sister Consuelo Ramirez, age 74, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was born on February 9, 1939 to Candelario and Dolores Ramirez in Kingsville, Texas.
She was a lifetime member of St. Martins Catholic Church. She served as a Religious of the Missionary Daughters of the Most Pure Virgin Mary for 59 years. She served as Sister Superior and School Principal for the following communities: St. Martins of Kingsville, St. Anthony's of Robstown, St. Joseph's of Sunnyside, Washington, and St. Joseph's of Wenatchee, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Eva Ramirez.
Survivors include four brothers, Candelario (Irma) Ramirez Jr. of Kingsville, Gaspar (Yolanda) Ramirez of Kingsville, Jesus (Gloria) Ramirez of Kingsville, and Jose (Irene) Ramirez of Corpus Christi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sun., Sept. 15, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
A Rosary will be held on Sun., Sept. 15, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Mon., Sept. 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martins Catholic Church with numerous priests officiating.
A Cremation will follow the Mass and a Graveside Service will occur at a later date.
