Sister Maria Luisa Peña, 87, of Kingsville, Texas passed away July 31, 2022, in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on August 25, 1934, in Robstown, Texas to Isidoro and Concepcion Peña.
She was a retired principal and a Catholic sister for 67 years with the Order Missionary Daughter of the Most Pure Virgin Mary. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by seven brothers, and three sisters.
Survivors include one brother, Servando Peña.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, 08-04-2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 08-05-2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
A private Graveside Service will be held in Chamberlain Cemetery at a later date.
