Obituary

Kingsville – Sister Maria Del Carmen Villalpando of Kingsville, TX died on June 16, 2014 in Kingsville, TX. She was 93.
She was born on July 15, 1920 to Mr. & Mrs. Norberto (Maria Isabel) Villalpando of Tepatitlan, Jalisco, Mexico.
She was a Religious Sister for Missionary Daughters of the Most Pure Virgin Mary and an active CCD Teacher in Kingsville. She graduated from Texas A&I University with a degree in Education. She was a teacher for over 70 years in numerous cities including Taft TX, Robstown TX, Kingsville TX, Sunnyside, WA and Wenatchee, WA.
Survivors include the sisters of Missionary Daughters of the Most Pure Virgin Mary Convent of Kingsville, TX and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville, Texas
Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
