Seferino D. Castaneda, 91, of Bishop, TX passed away on October 18, 2014 in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on August 26, 1923 in Harlingen, TX to Isidro and Senaida Castaneda.
He was a retired laborer.
He was preceded in death by his brother and sister, Ignacio Castaneda and Maria Lopez.
Survivors include two sisters, Rebecca Saldana of Kingsville, Texas, and Barbarita Galvan of Turkey, Texas; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Mon., 10-20-2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary was held on Mon., 10-20-2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass was held on Tues., 10-21-2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Pastor Richard Koziel and Romeo Salinas officiating.
Burial followed at Chamberlain Cemetery.
