Sarita Z. Mendietta, 83, of Kingsville, TX passed away on May 14, 2020 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on December 5, 1936 in Kingsville, TX, to parents Mr. & Mrs. Lorenzo and Maria Zamora.
She was a retired housekeeper and cook with John B. Armstrong Corporation. She was also a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by, one daughter, Maria Sylvia Saldana and one granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Escobedo.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-five years, Israel G. Mendietta of Kingsville, TX; two sons, Joe (Janel) Hernandez of Kingsville, TX, and Israel (Linda) Mendietta, of Kingsville, TX; two daughters, Norma (Carlos) Escobedo of Kerrville, TX, and Dolly (Eloy) Castillo of Kingsville, TX; and one sister, Maria Elena Garrett of Evansville, Indiana; twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Mon., 05-18-20, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Mon., 05-18-20 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tues., 05-19-20 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Paulson officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
