San Juanita Chavez, age 74, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, in Kingsville, Texas.
Born on July 19, 1950, in Kingsville to Vicente and Ramona Santana, San Juanita was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a dedicated homemaker who found joy in caring for her family. A faithful member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, her unwavering faith was a guiding light in her life.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Juan E. Chavez; her son, Rodolfo Jose Chavez; two sisters; and two brothers.
San Juanita is survived by her two sons, Gilbert A. Chavez of Kingsville and Vicente Juan Chavez (Lucinda Guevara) of Kingsville; two sisters, Esther Santana and Sylvia Gomez; two brothers, Enrique Santana and Joe Santana; sixteen grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 9: to 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Religious Service at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with Father Paulson officiating. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
