Ruben G. Chavez, 68, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away July 15, 2018 in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on August 6, 1949 in Kingsville, TX to Hipolito and Bacilia Chavez.
He was a retired auto mechanic after 43 years with Ford Motor Company.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Reynaldo Chavez; and one sister, Rebecca Alvarez.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Yolanda J. Chavez of Kingsville; one son, Ramiro J. Chavez of McAllen; one brother, Reymundo Chavez of Kingsville; one sister, Marie Resurez of Kingsville; two grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 07-18-2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, 07-18-2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, 07-19-2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church with Rev. Varghese K. Ethappiri officiating.
Burial will follow at Our Lady of Consolation Church Vattman Cemetery.
