Rosendo Tejeda, 87, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away May 7, 2022, in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on January 25, 1935, in Falfurrias, TX to Manuel and Beatrice Tejeda.
He was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Mary G. Tejeda; one son, Ricardo Herrera; seven brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include three daughters, Rosemary Tejeda of Kingsville, Patricia T. De Los Santos of Brownfield, and Diane Tejeda of Kingsville; five sons, Augustine Herrera Jr., Joe M. Tejeda, Raymond Tejeda, Rosendo Tejeda Jr., and Reynaldo Tejeda; one brother, Johnny Tejeda; one sister, Eloisa Lopez; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 05-10-2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, 05-10-2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, 05-11-2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
