Rosa V. Benitez, age 69, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on September 17, 1944 in Kingsville, Texas to Estanislado and Rosario Vasquez.
She was a retired elementary school teacher with Taft I.S.D. and Banquete I.S.D. She was also employed at CACOST early head start.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eduardo Benitez Jr.
Survivors include three daughters, Jeanette (Pedro) Garriga, Veronica (Ernest) Leal of Kingsville, and Roxann Benitez of Kingsville; three sons, Eddie (Nohemi) Benitez of Donna, Ramiro (Sonia) Benitez of Kingsville, and Joshua Benitez of Kingsville; one brother, Israel Vasquez of Kingsville; two sisters, Beatriz Saldana of Kingsville, and Rosario Cantu of Houston; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Mon., February 24, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Religious Service will be held on Mon., February 24, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tues., February 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Reverend Benjamin Hernandez and Samuel Aguilar officiating.
Interment will follow at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery.
