Rosa Colin Alaniz, 79, passed away August 13, 2020 in Corpus Christi, TX.
She was born on May 8, 1941 in Kingsville, TX to Tomas and Minerva Colin.
She was a retired nurse in Kingsville and surrounding areas. She was also a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Alaniz Jr; and one infant son, Jerry Alaniz; and three brothers.
Survivors include three sons, Albert (Diana) Alaniz III, Jaime C. (Denise) Alaniz, and Javier (Rosemary) Alaniz of Corpus Christi; one daughter, Veronica L. Alaniz of Corpus Christi; one brother, Tomas (Mary Ann) Colin of Kingsville; four sisters, Mary Lou Rodriguez of Houston, Calana (Cipriano) Arredondo of Falfurrias, Rosario (Sparky) Sparks of Yorktown, and Diana Colin of Corpus Christi; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Fri., 08-21-2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Fri., 08-21-2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery
