Rogelio Mendez, 65, of Kingsville, TX passed away on August 16, 2018 in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was born on July 25, 1953 in Kingsville, TX to Antonio and Petra Mendez.
He dedicated 28 years of service in Law Enforcement throughout Kingsville and surrounding areas. He was also a member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Antonio Mendez Jr. and Roland Mendez.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Cindy A. Mendez of Kingsville, TX; two daughters, Alyssa N. Mendez of Kingsville, and Madison Mendez of Kingsville; five sons, Rogelio (Esmeralda) Mendez of Rosenberg, Troy (Maria) Mendez of Edinburg, Trey (Celina) Mendez of Portland, Antonio (Stacy) Mendez of Illinois, and Alberto Mendez of Austin; two brothers, Arturo Mendez and Enrique Mendez; three sisters, Olga Cooner, Angie Antunez, and Enriquetta Puente; eleven grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, and sister-in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, 08-23-2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Thursday, 08-23-2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 08-24-2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church with Father Peter Thenan officiating.
Burial will be held at Chamberlain Cemetery.
