Rodolfo S. "Rudy" Benavides, 42, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on April 10, 2023, in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on August 7, 1980, in Kingsville, Texas to Crescencio and San Juanita Benavides.
He was an employee with Neesen Dodge. Rudy was a loving, caring man who loved his family very much. He loved to play drums, play the accordion, make BBQ, and listen to conjunto music on his spare time. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Rudy was also a big Eagles fan. Fly Eagles Fly!
He is preceded in death by one sister, Rosemary Perez.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Amanda L. Benavides of Kingsville; five daughters, Aubrey Benavidez, Leslie Benavidez, Rubi Benavidez, Jayann Cortez, Sariah Garcia; three sons, Jacob Cortez, Jessiah Cortez, and Rodolfo Benavides Jr.; two brothers, Daniel (Nichole) Benavidez, and Crescencio Benavides Jr.; two sisters, Enedina Benavides, and Mary Jane Benavides; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
