Roberto Rawlinson, 82, a lifelong resident of Kingsville, TX, passed away on June 6, 2024, in his hometown.
Born on November 29, 1941, in Kingsville, Texas to Trinidad and Elida Rawlinson, Roberto led a life rich with love, dedication, and passion. A retired painter by profession, he took pride in his work.
Beyond his professional life, Roberto's true joy came from his family and his love of the great outdoors. An avid fisherman, he found solace and happiness by the water, casting his line and enjoying the serenity of nature at every opportunity. His tales of fishing adventures are treasured memories for those who knew him.
Roberto was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love to his family. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Trinidad Rawlinson Jr. and Jesse Rawlinson, and three sisters, Minerva, Maria, and Aurora. His memory lives on in the hearts of his survivors, including his devoted wife of 37 years, Isabel J. Rawlinson of Kingsville; his cherished daughter, Becky Rawlinson of Kingsville; his two sons, Robert Rawlinson Jr. of Amarillo and Roel Rawlinson of Bishop; twelve beloved grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and his four loving sisters, Delia Rawlinson, Dora Rawlinson, Ester Rawlinson, and Noemi R. Gamez. He also leaves behind countless cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss him dearly.
Roberto's life will be honored and celebrated in a Graveside Service at a date to be announced later.
