Ricardo V. Lozano, 70, of Kingsville, TX, passed away on January 10, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on November 7, 1953, in Kingsville, Texas, to the late Daniel and Ofelia Lozano.

Ricardo led a life filled with diverse experiences, showcasing his resilience and passion. A retired laborer, he dedicated his working years to Franklin Welding. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, where he found solace and community in his faith. In his younger years, Ricardo was a prominent boxer, earning the esteemed title of Golden Glove Champion of Texas. His tenacity and strength in the ring mirrored his character outside of it.

Known for his generosity and compassionate spirit, Ricardo possessed a heart that knew no bounds. He would readily offer the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His devotion to his family was unparalleled, earning him the titles of a great father, brother, uncle, and friend. His caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ricardo is survived by his two sons, Richard (Vicki) Lozano of Kingsville, and Robert (Brittany) Lozano of Bishop; three daughters, Sally (Mark) De Leon of Corpus Christi, Stephanie (Josh) Ortiz of Odem, and Savannah Lozano (Alex) of Kingsville; three brothers, David Lozano, Daniel Lozano, and Joe Lozano; two sisters, Yolanda Martinez, and Zulema Mendez; fourteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Servando Torres. The final resting place will be Chamberlain Cemetery.
