Reyes M. Rivera, 79, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on October 31, 2017 in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on December 26, 1937 in Falfurrias, TX to Manuel and Marta Rivera.
He was a self-employed concrete contractor.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Rogelio Rivera.
Survivors include his fiancé, Margaret Carmona of Bishop; three sons, Ismael De Leon of Austin, John (Amy) Carmona of Kingsville, and James Carmona of Bishop; five daughters, Irma De Leon and Isabel De Leon both of Austin, Cindy R. (Ramon) Perez, and Laura Carmona both of Kingsville, and Taylor Rae Carmona of Bishop; one sister, Sulema Pitts of Houston; two brothers, Rene Rivera and Roel Rivera both of Kingsville; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., 11-02-2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Thurs., 11-02-2017, at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Fri., 11-03-2017 at 1:00 pm. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating and Deacon Raul Rosales assisting.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
