Rene C. Riojas, 32, of Kingsville, TX passed away Sept. 1, 2017 in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on November 24, 1984 in Kingsville, Texas.
He was a retired cook for numerous restaurants in the surrounding area. He was also a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Olegario G. Mata Jr.
Survivors include his mother, Beatrice R. Mata of Kingsville; his wife, Felisha Roman of Corpus Christi; two sons, Azariah Rene Riojas, and Isayah Oscar Riojas; two sisters, Olivia (Jimmy) Mireles of Agua Dulce, and Julie Mata (Eliseo) of Kingsville; two brothers, Oscar Roberto Castellanos of Kingsville, and Roland (Xenia) Castellanos of Arizona; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tues., 09-05-2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Tues., 09-05-2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wed., 09-06-2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Father Peter Thenan officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
