Rebecca C. Saldana, 85, of Kingsville, TX passed away March 21, 2024, in Kingsville, Texas.

She was born on August 11, 1938, in Bishop, Texas.

She was retired with Christus Spohn Hospital -Kleberg in the surgery dept. She loved cooking and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilberto P. Saldana; one daughter, Gloria Alaniz; two sisters, Maria Lopez, and Barbara C. Galvan; two brothers, Seferino D.Castaneda, and Ignacio Castaneda.

Survivors include two daughters, Graciela (Freddy) Mendel of Pleasanton, and Marta S. (Noe) Vargas of Kingsville; one son, Gilbert Saldana of Dallas; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
