Raquel Marin Martinez, 83, of Edroy, TX passed away March 2, 2016 in Corpus Christi, TX.
She was born on July 13, 1932 in Edroy, TX to Jesus and Eugenia Marin.
She was a retired homemaker, and was also a member of the Breath of Life Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jose Angel "El Cuatito" Martinez; one brother, Jesus Marin; and granddaughter, Josefina Martinez.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Emilio Martinez of Edroy, TX; three daughters, Maria G. (Juan) Benavides, Rachel (Danny) Garcia both of Edroy, TX, and Margarita (Javier) Martinez of Corpus Christi, TX; three sons, Daniel (Maria) Martinez of Corpus Christi, TX, Jose Emilio (Maria Alicia) Martinez of Edroy, TX, and Oscar (Esmeralda) Martinez of Odem, TX; two sisters, Faye Martinez of Edroy, TX and Guadalupe Marroquin of Corpus Christi, TX; one brother, Vicente Marin of Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Religious Service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Breath of Life Church at 1401 Kenedy Ave. in Kingsville, TX with Pastor Marcos Barrientes officiating.
Burial followed at Robstown Cemetery.
