Ramon O. Vela, 74, of Bishop, TX passed away January 2, 2015 in Bishop, TX.
He was born on September 3, 1941 in Bishop, TX to his mother San Juanita Ortiz.
He worked for the city of Robstown for 23 years as a brush loader.
Survivors include one daughter, Rosario Vela of Bishop, TX and three grandchildren.
A Rosary will be held on Tues., 01-06-2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wed., 01-07-2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Bishop with Father Romeo Salinas officiating.
A cremation will follow with a private burial at a later date.
Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
