Ramon Flores, age 78, of Kingsville, TX, passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2025, surrounded by his wife, daughter, and granddaughter. He was born on July 24, 1946, in Kingsville, where he spent his entire life.
Ramon proudly served as a United States Marine Corps Reservist before starting his career in the workforce. He retired from Celanese after dedicating over 35 years of hard work. Following his retirement, Ramon returned to work at Citgo Refinery and continued his career at Oxea, demonstrating his unwavering dedication and commitment to his craft.
Ramon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend known for his dry wit and lengthy stories. He is preceded in death by his parents, Aniceto and Fidela Flores, as well as his four siblings. He is survived by his wife, Joni Flores (Brooks) of Kingsville, and their daughter, Sara (Kenneth) Anderson. He is also survived by his sons, Ramon (Ayesha) Flores, Rene (Cory) Flores, Rolando Flores, and Robert (fiancée Erica) Flores, along with their mother, Elida Esther Flores. He leaves behind six grandchildren and numerous friends and loved ones who will cherish his memory.

Ramon's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
