She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life—tending to her garden, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and, above all, spending time with her family. These ladies held a special place in her heart.
Rachel is preceded in death by her beloved sister, Rebecca R. Escobedo, and brother, Robert L. Rojas.
Left to treasure her memory are her loving partner of 40 years, Eduardo Resurez Jr.; her daughter, Roxanne (Cruz) Jimenez; her sons, Rodolfo (Sonia) Alegria and Eduardo (Monica) Resurez III; her grandchildren, Aaron, Paula, Reina, and Avanni, who were the light of her life; her cherished nephew, Jesus Escobedo; and her brothers, Rogelio L. (Wilma) Rojas and Ruben (Rachel) Rojas. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives she touched deeply.
