Pedro S. Rodriguez Jr., a cherished resident of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on March 28, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 85 years old.
Pedro was born on January 6, 1939, and throughout his lifetime, he exemplified the values of dedication, hard work, and service. For many years, he served as a security officer for Texas A & I - Kingsville and Christus Spohn Hospital-Kleberg, where he committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of others. Additionally, Pedro was a proud entrepreneur, owning and operating his own cleaning business, where his strong work ethic and attention to detail shone brightly.
A member of St. Martin's Catholic Church, Pedro found solace and strength in his faith. He lived his life with integrity and kindness, leaving a lasting mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Pedro was preceded in death by his beloved son, James Rodriguez, his father, Pedro S. Rodriguez, and his mother, Eufemia Rodriguez. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories to be carried on by his surviving family members. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Rodriguez of Kingsville, and Dyanne Branson; his son, Esteban J. Rodriguez of Kingsville; his grandchildren, Jacqline, Clarese, Michael, Jonathan, Hailey, Jillian, and Camry; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, officiated by Father Charles. Pedro will be laid to rest at Chamberlain Cemetery, where he will be remembered with love and reverence by all who knew him.
Pedro's legacy of hard work, dedication, and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace.
