Patricia Lee Massey of North Charleston, South Carolina passed away on May 31st 2026 in Corpus Christi, Texas surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on September 3, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Massey; her first husband, William Fisher; her sister, Beverly Franz; her brother, James Richards; and parents, Alfred and Shirley Richards.

Patricia was a beloved mom, survived by her children Ron, Diane and James and daughter-in-law, Diana Perez Fisher, a granddaughter, Jennifer (George) Hoteling; and two great-grandchildren, Audrey and Sydney Hoteling.

Leaving Michigan in the early 1980s, she and Bruce migrated to Charleston, South Carolina. An astute business woman, she started her own business, Creative Services catering to the tourism industry. Upon retiring, she wasn't quite satisfied and started substitute teaching for the Dorchester County School District and loved her time at Windsor Hill Elementary and Fort Dorchester High School.

Patricia was an artist and her oil paintings are cherished by those she gifted them to. Also much appreciated was her approach to life with humor, grace and a flair for fashion.
