Pablo Gelista, 88, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away January 27, 2022, in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on July 22, 1933, in Alice, Texas to Asencion and Lorenza Gelista.
He was a retired security guard with the Civil Service and a U.S. Marine Veteran. He was also a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by one son, Pablo Gelista Jr.; one sister, Matilde Garza; five brothers, Raymundo, Juan, Isabelo, Jose and Jacob Gelista.
Survivors include his wife, Guadalupe Gelista of Kingsville; two sisters, Mary Bernal of Lewisville, TX, and Delia Gelista; one stepdaughter, Genie Gelista Bernal; one granddaughter, Hisiza; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 02-01-2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, 02-01-2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, 02-02-2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Old Collins Cemetery
