Otoniel Delgado, age 61, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, in Kingsville. He was born on October 25, 1964, in Edinburg, Texas.

Otoniel was a retired self-employed mechanic, but his greatest pride and purpose in life was his family. He was a devoted provider and protector who spent his life making sure those he loved were taken care of. Above all, Otoniel was an incredible father and grandfather whose love was shown through a lifetime of providing, protecting, teaching, and simply being there. His family will miss him deeply, but the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the example he set will be carried with them for the rest of their lives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Delgado, and his beloved wife of 40 years, Alma Delgado.

Otoniel is survived by his two daughters, Joanna (Soufine) Hani of Houston and Malu Delgado of Austin; his son, Alfredo G. Delgado of St. Petersburg, Florida; his four grandchildren, Tony, Ismael, Karim, and Jasmine; his mother, Natalia V. Delgado; his sister, Natalie (Alfonso) Olivarez; his two brothers, Victor (Sylvia) Delgado and Arnold Delgado; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will begin on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin’s Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
