Omar Khaled Zitooni, 42, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on April 7, 2025, in Corpus Christi.

Born on November 7, 1982, in Taif, Saudi Arabia, Omar was a man whose spirit was as vibrant and infectious as his laughter. His energy was magnetic—always lifting those around him with his humor and warm heart. Whether he was telling a joke, sharing a story, or just being present with loved ones, Omar had a way of making everyone feel like they mattered. His ability to connect with people was extraordinary, and he formed lifelong friendships all over the world.

In his professional life, Omar was employed with I.T.S. as a dedicated operations manager who took immense pride in his work. His commitment to excellence and his attention to detail were apparent in everything he did. Yet, beyond his career achievements, Omar was most defined by his generosity of heart. He was a man who gave freely of himself—offering support, encouragement, and love to family, friends, and even strangers.

Omar's adventurous spirit led him to embrace new experiences and cultures with open arms. His curiosity about the world and his deep passion for living made him an explorer at heart. Yet, his greatest adventure was always with those he loved. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Kassandra, and a proud father to their son, Kairos "Kai." His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Omar's warmth and genuine care for others left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. He was the person you could count on for a laugh, a helping hand, or simply a listening ear. His passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, but his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will endure.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Kassandra S. Zitooni; his cherished son, Kairos "Kai" Omar Zitooni; his mother, Lydia Zitooni; his father, Khaled Yaseen Zitooni; his two sisters, Fatema Zitooni and Aisha Zitooni, all of Corpus Christi; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins around the globe. Omar also leaves behind his nieces, Sophia and Lyla, and his devoted dog, Stark.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Seaside Reid Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Seaside Memorial Park, with Carlos Paz officiating.
