Olinda Caro De Leon, aged 78, passed away on October 19, 2023, in Kingsville, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was born in Hebbronville, Texas, on January 19, 1945, to her parents Pedro and Soledad Caro.
Olinda's dedication to her family was evident in her role as a devoted homemaker. Her nurturing spirit and commitment to her loved ones were the cornerstones of her life.
Olinda is now reunited with her husband, Martin De Leon Jr., and their son, Rosendo De Leon, in the embrace of eternity. Their spirits will forever be intertwined, and their memories cherished in the hearts of those who knew them.
Among those left to cherish her memory are her children, three daughters, Anna Lisa De Leon, Maria Cristina De Leon, and Alexandra Marie (Gus) Ruiz, all of Kingsville, and two sons, Paulino Martin De Leon and Pedro Basilio De Leon, also of Kingsville. She is survived by her sister, Martha (Lazaro) Ramos, and two brothers, Gabriel Caro and Quirino (Alda) Caro. Her legacy lives on through ten cherished grandchildren, David, Victoria, Marcus, Justin, Anthony, Marisa, Sam, Leah, Ashley, and John, as well as four great-grandchildren. Her love extended beyond immediate family through several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at a visitation scheduled for Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Service to celebrate Olinda's life will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with Reverend Servando Torres officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
Olinda's life was a testament to the love and dedication she had for her family. Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her, and her legacy of love will forever endure in the hearts of her loved ones. While she may have left this world, her spirit lives on in the stories, memories, and the enduring love she shared with her family and friends.
