Noemi G. Ruiz, 95, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Noemi was born on November 30, 1929, in Roma, Texas, to Belisario and Josefa Gonzalez. A woman of unwavering faith, she lived her life with devotion, kindness, and a generous heart. She was a proud and dedicated member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, where she spent much of her time praying, volunteering, and nurturing her community.

Noemi was a retired homemaker who found joy in caring for others. She was known for her exceptional cooking and baking, creating meals that brought her family together and filled their home with love. Her gentle spirit and nurturing nature made her the cornerstone of her family, always providing comfort and support to those around her. She loved being a caregiver, not only to her children and grandchildren but to friends and extended family as well.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Juan Santos Ruiz; two sisters, Nelda Lomas and Nadia Gonzalez; and one grandson, Eric Ruiz.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Nora Dalia (Arturo) Rodriguez, Raul Rene (Merida) Ruiz, Roel Ruben (Lydia) Ruiz, and Juan Santos Ruiz Jr., all of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Noelia Villarreal and Nelia Ruiz; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her legacy of love and faith will live on through the generations of her family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m., at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
