Noelia Barrera Munoz, 91, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away October 13, 2022, in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on October 5, 1931 in El Sauz, Texas to Piedad and Santos Barrera.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all. She was a member of St. Joseph's Altar Society and Choir for many years. Her hobbies included singing and dancing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eliseo Munoz; two sisters, Ester Alvarez, and Thelma Garcia; one brother, Joel Barrera; and one niece, Velma Alvarez.
Survivors include one daughter, Rosa (Adalberto) Vera of Concepcion; one son, Jose Roel Munoz of Kingsville; and one sister, Enaida Watson; brother-in-law, Pete Garcia; caregiver and friend, Rhonda Redd; best friend, Josie Garcia; grandchildren, Michael Vera, Jeremy Sawyer, Regina Vera (Eduardo Garcia), Joshua Ryan Munoz (Roxanne); and Kristina Vera; great-grandchildren, Gavin Sawyer, Italia Sawyer, Jaxyn Sawyer, Madison Albright, Hannah Albright, and Olivia Ivette Garcia; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers, Melissa De La Garza, Robin Rivera, and Aaliyah Rodriguez, VIP Providers, Visiting Physicians Association, River City Hospice, and Kingsville Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 10-18-2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, 10-19-2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Paulson officiating.
Burial will follow at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery.
