Noe O. Gonzales, 92, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, in his hometown, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on December 8, 1932, in Kleberg County to the late Trinfo and Aniceta Gonzales. A man of hard work and dedication, Noe was the proud owner and operator of S & N Trucking, where he worked as a self-employed truck driver until his retirement. His work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit were admired by many. He was also a faithful member of St. Martin's Catholic Church, where he served as president of the mutualista, dedicating himself to the betterment of his community.

Noe had a passion for gardening and welding, often spending hours creating and cultivating with his hands. He found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, including playing with his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A true animal lover, he especially adored his cats, who brought him much companionship and happiness.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Ignacio Gonzalez and Santos Gonzalez; one sister, Maria Beltran; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Vela.

Noe is survived by his devoted wife of 70 years, Amalia G. Gonzales of Kingsville; his son, Santos (Alma) Gonzales of Kingsville; and his four daughters: Lucinda G. (Rick) Stevens of Laguna Vista, Lionila G. (Joe) Villarreal of Riviera, Eliza G. (Abelardo Jr. "Mocho") Vela of Kingsville, and Raquel G. (Noe) Longoria of Kingsville. He was the proud grandfather of twelve grandchildren: Santos Jr., Arturo, Noralee, Juan Jr., Javier, Jose Rene Jr., Celina, Lillian, Araceli, Tres, Sonja, and Noe Omer; as well as thirty-five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Ernestina Castillo, along with numerous extended family members and friends who cherished him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. to celebrate his life and legacy. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church, officiated by Father Alfredo Villarreal. Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
