Nelda G. Jurado, 66, a resident of San Diego, Texas passed away November 4, 2022, in San Diego, Texas.

She was born on September 20, 1956, to Abraham and Rosa Guevara.

She was a retired teacher with the Head Start Program. She graduated from Ray High School and St. Mary's University from the Nursing Program. She loved to gather with family and friends. Fishing was one of her favorite hobbies, and she was a very loyal San Antonio Spurs fan.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Leonor H. Guevara; and two brothers, Manuel H. Guevara and Julio H. Guevara.

Survivors include one son, Norberto (Monalinda) Jurado Jr. of San Antonio; one daughter, Nadia (Sonni) Finnell of San Antonio; six grandchildren, Jasmine, Rebekah, Dexter, Nadine Rose, Raven, and Izaiah; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Cremation will follow, and a Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
