Monico P. Florez Jr., 94, of Kingsville, TX passed away January 5, 2016 in Kingsville, TX.
He was born July 16, 1921 in the Norias Ranch to Monico and Maria Florez.
He was formerly employed with the Norias Division in the King Ranch. He was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kingsville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adela M. Florez; and one son, Abundio Florez.
Survivors include one son, Manuel (Eustolia) Florez of Houston; four daughters, Adela Florez of Kingsville, Alma (Jack) Shorter of Kingsville, Odulia Florez of Kingsville, and Angelica Florez of Corpus Christi; twenty-two grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Fri., 01-08-2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sat., 01-09-2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Bishop Darrin Hoskisson officiating.Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
