Michael Fred Jones, 72, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away on October 20, 2021, in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on September 10, 1949, in Brownsville, Texas to his parents, Fred O'Neal and Joan Jones.
He was a retired City of Kingsville Police Department; he achieved the rankings of Lieutenant and Interim Police Chief. He was a former Little League baseball coach for numerous years and was also a former Grocery Manager with Kingsville Kroger.
Survivors include his two brothers, Roland O'Neal Jones of Seagoville, Texas, and Steven (LuAnn) Jones of Greenville, Texas; one adopted son, Eligio (Angelica) Vela of Ricardo, Texas; one uncle, two aunts, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
With a Cremation to follow with a Private Memorial to be held at a later date.
