Melida G. Kerwin, 94, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away May 31, 2022, in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on February 12, 1928, in Kingsville, Texas.
She was the owner and operator of Melida's Beauty Salon. She was a member of El Buen Pastor Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Richard R. Kerwin; and one brother, Ruben Gonzales.
Survivors include two daughters, Lillian (Robert) Salinas of Kingsville, and Ellyn K. Ramos of Kingsville; two sons, Richard (Rosie) Kerwin of Orlando, Florida, and Robert Kerwin of Kingsville; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A private Graveside Service will be held at Rio Grande Veteran Cemetery in Mission, TX at a later date.
