Maximiliano "Maxie" Garza, 87, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away December 1, 2015 in Bishop, Texas.
He was born on August 24, 1928 in Bishop, TX to Sipriano and Sara Garza.
He was a self-employed retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Guadalupe Garza; one son, Hector Garza; one brother, Marcelino Garza; three sisters, Leonor Carmona, Hortencia Ortega, and Eloisa Gonzalez.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Elvira C. Garza of Bishop; two daughters, Juanita (Jon) Breseman of Bishop, and Sarita (Roel Jr.) Lopez of Bishop; four sons, Ernesto (Rosie) Garza of Alice, Maximiliano (JoAnn) Garza Jr. of Bishop, Arnulfo (Irma) Garza of Bishop, and Arnoldo Garza of Bishop; one sister, Irma Ortega of Bishop; two brothers, Roberto Garza and Oscar Garza, both of Bishop; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Fri., 12-04-2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Religious Service will be held on Fri., 12-04-2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sat., 12-05-2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Templo Gethsemani Pentecostes, 811 West Third Street, Bishop, with Rev. Ruben M. Gonzalez officiating.
Burial will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
