Mary "Albesa" Guzman Freelon, 80, of Kingsville, TX passed away on May 26, 2021, in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on May 13, 1941, in Kingsville, TX to Frank and Selsa Guzman.
She was a retired health care professional and long-time owner and operator of Day and Night Club.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, James Freelon; one grandson, Joseph Daniel Garcia Jr.; one son, Joseph Daniel "Joey" Garcia; two brothers, Frank Guzman Jr. and Ramon Guzman.
Survivors include her life partner, Bill Van Cleave; his daughter, Elizabeth (Dennis) Wallen; two daughters, Terry (Kelly) Thrasher of Montgomery, Tx, and Veronica Janell (Rick) Salinas of Kingsville; one son, Jacob (Chelsey) Garcia of Kingsville; five grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Garcia, Joseph Daniel Garcia Jr., Shannon Krista Steele, Seth James Garcia, and Jade Nicole Diaz; one daughter-in-law, Velma San Miguel; two sisters-in-laws, Adelita Guzman, and Diana Guzman; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wed., 06-02-2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Wed., 06-02-2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
