Martha T. Alfaro, 79, of Kingsville, Texas, passed June 21, 2022, in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on February 22, 1943, in Kingsville, Texas to Victoriano and Maria Aminta Tijerina.
Martha was a retired teacher's aide. She was a member of Templo Bethel Assembly of God Church. She was known for sense of fashion and style. Martha will be remembered for her great cooking and baking. She was not only a servant to our Lord, but also a servant to others. Memories around her kitchen table will never be forgotten.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Evaristo B. Alfaro; one son, Noe T. Alfaro; three sisters; and three brothers.
Survivors include two sons, Evaristo (Veronica) Alfaro Jr. of Kingsville, Texas, and Alfredo (Becky P.) Alfaro of Beckville, Texas; one sister, Olga Eckstein of San Antonio; one sister-in-law, Elvira (Mike) Basaldua of Kingsville; five grandchildren, Jacye, Kristopher, Dalye, Nicolas, and Joey; numerous nieces and nephews, and an abundance of friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, 06-27-2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Templo Bethel Assembly of God Church, with a Religious Service at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, 06-28-2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Templo Bethel Assembly of God Church with Pastor Manuel Garza officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
