Marta L. Longoria, 86, of Kingsville, Texas passed away surrounded by her family on April 9, 2022, in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on September 6, 1935, in Ricardo, TX to Fidencio and Concepcion Lopez.
She was the co-owner and operator of Longoria Stand. She was a member of Templo Betel Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Longoria was known for her famous chili. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Hermino C. Lopez: and Juan C. Lopez.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Jose Longoria of Kingsville; four sons, Jose Longoria Jr. of Kingsville, Ruben Longoria of Kingsville, Noe (Rachel) Longoria of Kingsville, and Jacob (Mary) Longoria of Cumming, GA; two daughters, Rebecca (James) Gonzalez of San Antonio, and Leticia (Daniel) Fisher of Floresville; one brother, Rev. Samuel (Noemi) C. Lopez of Laredo; five grandchildren, Noe (Maria), Gloria, Israel, Zane, and Isabella; and two great-grandsons, Noah, and Nathaniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Templo Betel Assembly of God Church, with a Religious Service at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Templo Betel Assembly of God Church with Reverend Sam Lopez Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
