Marilyn Elizabeth Nolter, 71, of Kingsville, TX passed away on October 11, 2013 at Christus Spohn Hospital Kleberg due to natural causes. She was born May 29, 1942 in Middlebury, Vermont to Edward Charles Brileya and Alta Alberta (Bishop) Brileya. Marilyn attended Saint Mary's School and graduated from Vergennes High School. She was married to Kenneth G. Nolter for 49 years before his passing in December 2012.
Marilyn worked alongside Ken as managers of the Oasis Mobile Home Park for 23 years. She loved the many Winter Texans that traveled south every year and welcomed them like family. She was a member of the Kingsville Chamber of Commerce. Her pleasures included golfing at LE Ramey Golf Course, baking, puzzles, ceramic crafts, and computer games.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Roger (Teresa) Nolter of Millville, NJ; her daughter, Lisa (John) Elliott of Bishop, TX; brother, Richard Brileya of Moriah, NY; sisters, J. Elaine Stanley of Salisbury, VT and Romana Boswell of Seabrook, NH; five grandchildren: Sara (Adam) Bermudez of Eagle Pass, TX, Aaron Nolter of Mays Landing, NJ, and Aarika, Zachary and Crystal Nolter of Millville, NJ; one great-grandchild, Olivia of Eagle Pass, TX.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Nolter, her parents, Edward and Alta Brileya, two brothers, David Brileya and Ronald Brileya, and one sister, Carolyn Swinton. Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home of Kingsville, TX is in charge of the arrangements and Marilyn's remains will be interred with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.
