Maria Elena B. Villarreal, 79, of Kingsville, TX passed away August 10, 2020 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on July 17, 1941 in Kingsville, TX to Felicita Garza.
She was a homemaker and also, a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe D. Villarreal; son, Rene Villarreal; biological mother, Felicita Garza; grandparents who raised her, Carlos and Susana Cruz; brothers, Domingo Cruz, Carlos Cruz, and Gilbert Garza; sisters, Andrea Ortegon, Elvira C. Longoria, Amparo Nunez, Juanita Cruz, and Susanita Cruz.
Survivors include two sons, Guadalupe (Erika) Villarreal of Bishop, and Richard Villarreal of Kingsville; three grandchildren, Austin Villarreal, Ariel (Jesus) Valdez, and Chloe Villarreal (Nick Briseno); two great-grandchildren, Thiago Esteban Valdez, and Uriah Rene Villarreal; brothers, Ramon (Vicky) Cruz, and Guadalupe Cruz; sisters, Francisca (Manuel) Reyes, Maria Rodriguez, Salome (Apolonio) Rodriguez, Diana (Roberto) Zavala, Norma Alaniz (Cipriano Garcia), Alicia (Armando) Torres, and Elvira (Edward) Flores; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, 08-13-2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, 08-13-2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
