Maria Consuelo Rodriguez, 83, of Kingsville, Texas passed away April 10, 2024, in Kingsville, Texas.

She was born on January 21, 1941, in Kingsville, Texas to the late David and Martina Trevino.

She was a retired housewife and enjoyed making homemade Mexican delicacies for her family. She was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church. She was very close to her faith, and loved spending time at family events with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos David Rodriguez.

Survivors include one son, Carlos D. Rodriguez Jr.; seven daughters, Connie (Carlos Jr.) Salgado, Cynthia R. (Michael) Tasista, Carol R. (James) Barton, Martha R. (Israel) Cardenas, Jeannie R. (Rain) Garcia, Hope R. (Rudy) Sosa, and Helen Rodriguez; eleven grandchildren, Carla, Carlos III, Matthew, Wesley, Clint, Michael Justin, Jacky, Joseph, Daniel, Timothy, and Faith; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Gloria Ortiz; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 8:00 a.m until 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Father Charles Silvas officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
