Maria Gloria Ramirez, 82, of Kingsville, TX passed away on February 26, 2017 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on March 30, 1934 in Edinburg, TX to Rafael and Guadalupe Castillo.
She was a retired homemaker, and was also a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Anselmo Ramirez; one son, Rosendo Castillo; two brothers, Encarnacion Castillo and Simon Castillo; and one sister, Antonia Carbajal.
Survivors include five daughters, Yolanda (Israel) Figueroa of George West, Adela (Julian) Dino of Beeville, Irma Alegria of Kingsville, Maria Ramirez (Ernesto Gonzalez) of Houston, Janie (Guadalupe) Garcia III of Deer Park; three sons, Eduardo (Diana) Ramirez of Angleton, Eliberto (Eva) Ramirez of Kingsville, Crecensio (Esther) Ramirez of Forth Worth; five sisters, Victoria Perez of Sarita; Lupita Muniz, Senaida Munoz, Viola Castillo, Olga Huerta, all of Falfurrias; one brother, Domingo Castillo of Falfurrias; thirty-five grandchildren; fifty-six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wed., 03-01-2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Wed., 03-01-2017at 6:30 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thurs., 03-02-2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Father Peter Thenan officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
